Former Mass State Director Gene StMartin Passes

[9-DEC-18] Gene StMartin has been recalled back to Godís Palace joining his wife Bette this day on December 9, 2018. Our prayers go out to Gene and his family during this difficult time.

New Mass State Director for 2019

[31-DEC-18] Joe and Rhonda Cavossa are retiring from the State Director role and Walter & Donna Swenson take over as our new State Directors. Walter is a 3rd generation Good Sam member and has been involved in local chapters for more than 40 years and at the state level for the last 2 years.


Mass State Committee Meeting Date and Location Change

Former State Treasurer Ellen Goughen Passes

[19-FEB-17] It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our former State Treasurer, Ellen Goughen. Ellen passed peacefully last night surrounded by family. Ellen's wake will be Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 at Silas F Richardson & Son Funeral Home at 106 West Street in Leominster. The funeral will be at 10:00 AM Saturday at St Cicillias on Mechanic St in Leominster. Keep her Daughter Darlene and all her family in your prayers.



Northeast Good Sam/Camping World of Berkley Octoberfest

[23-OCT-16] Late October and many families of the Northeast Good Sam family converged on the Camping World of Berkley to camp out for the weekend. This weekend hosted by the Camping World of Berkley had 15 families present and having a great early fall camping time. While the weather was not perfect, everyone had a great time with food, music, games, and good company and conversation. More than $600.00 was raised for Haloís Wish at this event as well with even the Camping World Employees and former owners chipping into the pot.



Southern New England 3rd Annual Fall Fest

The 3rd Southern New England Fall Fest was held at the Ashaway RV Resort in Bradford, RI in September of 2016. This event hosted by the Mass and RI Good Sam organizations celebrates Fall in New England and is a relaxing way to get out and camp with some Good Sam Family friends.

Both the Silva and Coburn families were present to receive their Haloís Wish grants to enable them to, even if just for a short time, put their challenges aside and enjoy some family time away in Florida.


Mass Good Sam Celebrates 45th Anniversary

The Mass Good Sam organization joined together in May of 2016 to celebrate the Mass Good Sam Clubís 45th Anniversary. Over 200 families gathered at the Franklin County Fairgrounds in Greenfield, MA to enjoy a great time, good food, awesome entertainment, and meeting up with old and new friends. Some even had a great time with Hot Air Balloons. A ton of money was raised for the Haloís Wish program kicking of a great start to a summer of camping and Good Sam Rallies across the region.



Mass Good Sam Celebrates 5th Anniversary

The Mass Good Sam organization joined together in May of 1976 at the Topsfield Fairgrounds to celebrate the Mass Good Sam Clubís 5th Anniversary. 194 Families, from 10 state chapters and out-of-staters, gathered for the Samboree.Activities include a Zoomobile, Square Dancing, Walt Disney Film, food, bingo, and other activities. Harry Carlsen was the State Director at the time of this event.
